THE RETURN OF THE GORILLA--NEW LP IN THE WORKS. ALBUM ART AVAILABLE, ASSHOLES.
THEY SAY THE CLASSICS NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE... BUT THEY DO, THEY DO... AND SOMEHOW, BABY, I NEVER THOUGHT THE BEATLES WOULD TOO. SO WE ADDED SOME DICKS. FUCK YEAH.
I've just downloaded the Bulletproof Ass, I haven't heard it yet, but I'm kinda optimistic. After all, someone who makes quotations from such a genious album as "The Shape Of Punk To Come" can't play shitty music, am I right?
Formed in 2008 by Rob Hall and Mark Williams in a "boring" suburb in Pennsylvania, SCREAMING GORILLA is the result of that mass dadaist boredom. They are based purely on the ideology of "getting things done real fast."
Sadly, Mark and Rob were only able to record two songs before Mark became homeless and had to leave to get his life together. Now, SCREAMING GORILLA is a one-man band. All songs are written, performed, and recorded on the fly with no prior thought process going into songwriting. The point is to get things done as fast as possible.
The music is supposed to represent immature perceptions of manhood and general misanthropic violence, with the idea in mind that their band is "badass hardcore shit." Rob Hall released the EP "Skool Sux" on February 4, 2009 and it contains songs that will appear on the upcoming full-length debut "Bulletproof Ass."
The two songs written with Mark may one day get an official release.
